Since he started working as a customs officer in 1976, Jaeheung Lee has performed various customs duties such as Customs Valuation and HS Classification for 45 years, and retired as the head of the Incheon headquarters in 2011 after serving as the head of the Daegu and Gwangju headquarters customs.

In addition, while serving as a customs officer, he also served as a professor of Customs Valuation at Customs Human Resources Development Institute, and received commendations from the Minister of Strategy and Finance, the Prime Minister of State, and the President.

After the retirement of customs, he served as vice president of Korea Trade Network (KTNET) for three years from 2011, and since 2014, he has been the chairman of the CTL customs advisory group, and is in charge of compliance with import and export customs of various large domestic and foreign companies such as Lam Research Korea, Kia Motors, Apple Korea, and Under Armour Korea.
