|KIPO-WIPO Advanced Intellectual Property Training Course will begin in April 2016 |

The Commissioner of the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) announced that KIPO and WIPO will open the Advanced International Certificate Course in April 14th, 2016. This course provides both online and offline lectures on IP strategies for a global business environment and it will use IP PANORAMA as learning material. Course registration is available online at the IP e-learning portal (http://www.ipdiscovery.net.)
IP PANORAMA was designed to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) utilize and manage IP in their business strategies. It was developed jointly by KIPO, the Korea Invention Promotion Association (KIPA) and WIPO. IP PANORAMA deals with topics of significant interest to businesses, including licensing, IP valuation, IP strategies, as well as the basics of IP. IP PANORAMA is currently available in 24 languages, such as English, French and Spanish.
The KIPO-WIPO Advanced International Certificate Course is intended to nurture IP experts, thereby helping Korean and foreign businesses make better use of their IP assets. The course will run three times for a period of six weeks, starting on April 14th, May 19th, and June 23rd, respectively. Participants with high scores will be invited to in-person lectures, presented by world-renowned scholars in the IP field, which is scheduled for November 2016 in Seoul. This will give the participants access to advanced knowledge relating to IP strategies.
This course is open to anyone who has an interest in intellectual property. The deadline for registration in the first course is April 13th. Further information is available at the IP e-learning portal.
